Bridge to Terabithia
We are currently reading Bridge to Terabithia. In Chapter 2 we find out that Jess, one of the main characters, loves to draw. His favourite drawings involve animals who face difficult problems. One drawing was of a "hippopotamus leaving the edge of a cliff, turning over and over towards the sea below where surprised fish were leaping goggle-eyed out of the water."
